| upon calculating my last years taxes (no, not the ones you hand in this year but the ones before that) i am seemingly due to receive $700. oh, if only that were true! maybe its the beers in me belly doing the math but something has gone terribly awry in the calculations. you see, i actually did attempt at the taxes last year like a good little citizen only when they (they being H&R Block) told me it was gonna cost me $60 to get a return of $140 i balked and couldnt cough up the dough. I didn't have $60 then, nor do i now. so somehow i have miscalculated $540 someodd dollars. hmmmmm. was that one beer minus five or five times 17%? damn. maybe next year. oh wait, thats this year. nope, not this year either. well, maybe the year after this one?? ha ha ha, who am i fooling? i'm never gonna get that fat return and even if i did it would be eaten up by those damn bill monsters before i even licked its pretty backside. |
